Jealousy or disappointment? 'coz their American dream didn't become reality? Either case, though, agree won't make you happy. :) ;)

“There comes a time when you have to stand up and shout:
This is me damn it! I look the way I look, think the way I think, feel the way I feel, love the way I love! I am a whole complex package. Take me... or leave me. Accept me - or walk away! Do not try to make me feel like less of a person, just because I don't fit your idea of who I should be and don't try to change me to fit your mold. If I need to change, I alone will make that decision.
When you are strong enough to love yourself 100%, good and bad - you will be amazed at the opportunities that life presents you.” :) ;)

Depends on what you mean by 'buy'.

"We all have our reason for living. And our price for loving."
Translated into simple English, "We are all prostitutes". Hehehe.

Marriage breakdown changed my life. The lure of wealth and fame no longer held the same fascination or urgency it once did. It is difficult to know why. They say that those who have a near-death experience often use their second chance at life to redeem their earlier mistakes; some pursue the spiritual, and others search for meaning in what remains of their existence on this earth. Discovering what this is for me has now become a quest. :) ;)

Considering a similar plan as one of my options after retirement. Go back home. Marry a pretty, intelligent, and young Pinay. Enter into politics. Realize good at bullsh*tting. Well, my postings draw record-breaking views. Bida sa pagka contrabida. Hehehe. ;)

Main article: May the Force be with you

The Force is referenced several times throughout the Star Wars saga. In A New Hope, there are several mentions of the Force in reference to Luke Skywalker: by Obi-Wan Kenobi ("It surrounds us and penetrates us. It binds the galaxy together.", "Use the Force, Luke." and "The Force will be with you, always.") and Darth Vader ("The Force is strong with this one.") The famous line "May the Force be with you" is actually said by General Dodonna after explaining the Death Star attack plan to the Rebel pilots. It is said again by Han Solo to Luke, right before the attack on the Death Star battle station.

In The Empire Strikes Back, Emperor Palpatine states "There is a great disturbance in the Force," in reference to Luke Skywalker. Yoda points out that "a Jedi's strength flows from the Force." while training Luke (a statement he would repeat in Return of the Jedi); Yoda also explains that "you must feel the Force around you." During their battle in Cloud City, Darth Vader tells Luke "The Force is with you, young Skywalker, but you are not a Jedi yet." Finally, Luke says "May the Force be with you" at the end of the movie.

In Return of the Jedi, some references to the Force also include Yoda stating on his deathbed "Strong am I with the Force, but not that strong.", Luke revealing to Leia that he is her brother, by stating "The Force runs strong in my family", and Admiral Ackbar saying, "May the Force be with us" immediately prior to the Battle of Endor. :) ;)

Note that, one year later, on 28 July 1794, Maximilien Robespierre, the one most instrumental in Marie Antoinette's execution also suffered the same fate. His death marked the end of France's short-lived (September 5, 1793, to July 27, 1794) Reign of Terror. Estimates vary widely as to how many were killed, with numbers ranging from 16,000 to 40,000. Mostly aristocrats.
Once upon a time in my life, used to have some French pals recounted this saga as I'd tell them about Marcos, etc. :) ;)

But, as Lyn Ann pointed it out, marami ng namatay sa kantang "My Way".
Not far from the truth. Yesterday, local newspaper headlined a 22-yr-old Aussie lady who died as a jihad martyr in Syria. Body riddled with bullets. Father is a middle eastern Muslim immigrant and mother is a white Christian Australian. Born and raised here and educated in a prestigious anglican exclusive school in Qld, one would've expected her to become a christian.

Lady completed her degree in Qld. Family moved to western Sydney. Met this Syrian who later became her husband in Muslim wedding. Must have been only recently. Husband went to Syria on "humanitarian mission". She told her family she'll go to Copenhagen for holiday. Late last month, couple died together in Syria as jihad martyrs -- bodies riddled with bullets. :(

Confident can find a lass like her for a wife. But, maybe, must be a Muslim. Many here but can't see their faces 'coz wearing burqah. Hehe  :) ;)

Tingali pauli ko sa Pinas. Become a Muslim so can have many wives. :-* ;)

Pondering .....
"happiness is getting what you want. Not what others want for you."
 :) ;)
Contemplative. Thinking about the 22-yr-old lady jihad martyr. She really knows where she belongs. :)

"I'll fly into the arms of my darling,
And there I'll be willing to die"
- excerpt from song "Someone to Love Me"

Yep, she paid a very high price. :(

Me also paid a very high price.

Can't help comparing against my ex-. While still married, ang akong ex- morag dili minyo. Ang iyang nawong to-a ra ghapon sa iyang pamilya. One main reason marriage collapsed.
"Usik2X lang kag kuarta pa-eskuelag mahal ang imong mga anak, juan. Anhi lang na sla dinhi sa Ateneo aron maka-save ka". The unspoken words were, "Kanang imong ma-save, ipadala nya diri namo". Hehe :) ;)
Wa ko mosugot for 2 reasons: 1) di ko gusto mahilayo nako ang akong mga anak; 2) in the long run, hasta akong mga anak apilon nilag boy2X. :)
Still continuing to pay,.....
Guess that's one main reason that every time lit the flame of love, so quickly2X dies. Many back home view this as a radical approach. As Bisaya would say, "Kanang imong utang namo, di na kabayran og SAPI! Kai kon di pa tungod namo, di ka maka-abroad"! In other words, the o/s Pinoy is perpetually indebted to them. :)

Bored. Sick and tired of hearing heartbreaking stories. Why do I always hear them?
Yesterday, it was this Aussie bloke who's having relationship problem with his Pinay wife. Couldn't take whole family to Disneyland 'coz she's perpetually sending money home.

When will she draw the line and say, “Ok, this is it! Enough is enough! You’ve been watching too many movies, but life isn’t like that in real life. If you want money, work for it! Go abroad!”?

So .....

Really?
???
Wouldn’t you then be frightened of being on your own and loneliness, and you simply don't know quite what to do?
