Pageant experts says that Miss Mexico's win was a bit of a surprise and created a storm of controversy but because she is being loved by her peers from 13 different countries, she sure deserved the crown.
She was asked why she was seen most of the time staring from a far and bowing her head she said, " praying for world peace and quietly reciting Snow White's "mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?" would be the answer to make her spirit up!
This year's MMG beauty pageant crown will be passed on by the 23-year-old reigning Miss Universe Vantacy Love and Miss World Janet Stevenson Schneider. The pageant hosts were Poca Rafael and Vivorah held at the Beyond The Stars Palace in Glendale, California on December 1, 2012.
Before the pageant and during the pageant night, according to insider experts, Miss Mexico's representative Pia Isabella Navarette was not among the early favorites.
"This woman is proud to wear her sash, and she's doing a great job to get noticed. She's very competitive but needs to loosen up a bit", one insider opines and she did loosen up and won the title as Miss Universe!
