Lesson for kababayans back home is: henceforth, don't be complacent. Gotta be prepared against the ravages of nature. Similar calamities will continually recur due to climate change/global warming. :)

In a way, rich countries like USA owe it to poor countries like Philippines. It's their lifestyle that's a major contributor to climate change/global warming. :)
