Melai Cantiveros gave birth to a girl on Thursday night, April 3 at  St. Elizabeth Hospital in General Santos City.

Her husband,  Jason Francisco posted a photo of their daughter on Instagram and said, "Hi Philippines and Universe heres our first family picture."

The proud father and husband thanked Melai's doctors. He didn't mention the baby's name yet, but used the hashtag #melasonbaby. Melason is the name of Jason and Melai's love team, which was born in the reality TV show Pinoy Big Brother.

Melai and Jason tied the knot on December 9 at the Holy Cross Parish in General Santos City.
