MANILA, Philippines – Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes are getting married this December, they confirm in a press conference on August 15.

The couple will reportedly marry at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Cubao on December 30.

Dingdong said that the location is special to them.

"I was baptized in the same church. I grew up in Cubao," he said

The actor said that he and Marian want to share their special day with the fans. He is also considering President Benigno Aquino III as one of their sponsors.

Marian also said that she has two maids of honor – friends Ana Feleo and Roxanne Barcelo.

Other details have yet to be ironed out, with their respective teams helping them on the planning.

On August 9, Dingdong proposed to Marian live on her TV show Marian, which was met with enthusiasm and screams from the fans.

The two first met when they worked together in the show Marimar. Other shows such as Dyesebel, Endless Love, and Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang also followed.

The couple have been together for 5 years.

Gotta be a gold digger. Find me a lovely young Pinay for a wife whose brain is a gold mine. So can earn me truckloads of cash to bring into me next life. Hehe :) ;)
