In its advisory issued at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 9, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Tropical Depression "Ruby" has weakened further and all public storm warning signals have been lifted.
"Ruby" now has winds of 45 kilometers per hour (kph). The weather is expected to improve tomorrow.

As of 4 a.m. today, "Ruby" was spotted 80 km southwest of Ambulong, Tanauan City, Batangas or 90 km west northwest of Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro.

Typhoon Ruby was last seen 20 kilometers east of Torrijos, Marinduque.
"Ruby" is expected to exit the Philippine area of responsibility by Wednesday evening.
