Justin Bieber didn’t just reveal his chest for the cover of the (fitting) "Reinvention Issue" of Men’s Health’s. The 21-year-old “Boyfriend” singer also revealed plenty of hidden truths about his life.

“This has really been a big year for me, as far as figuring stuff out,” he said. “This is almost like a full 180 from how I was. Yesterday—a year from yesterday—I was in jail.”

Part of that change appears to involve being more candid with his fans. Here are the six biggest reveals that the Biebs made in his new interview:
He Might Be a Genius
Bieber revealed he used “mathematical algorithms” to solve a Rubik’s Cube in under a minute. When asked if he was a genius, he said, “I don’t think so. Maybe.”
He’s a Bodybuilder
According to Bieber, he was a fighter as far back as grade six. “I was a pitbull,” he told Men’s Health. “I was small but I could hold my own.” And though he injured his neck on a trampoline a year ago, he can also do three double jumps in a row while skipping (with a rope, we mean). Having said that, his trainer, Patrick Nilsson from Orange Gym Rats, admits they “work out for aesthetics,” which means bodybuilding by lifting weights five times a week. ”Yeah, you know I’m just getting bigger, man,” he said. “It’s like, my shoulders don’t fit in some things.”
He Made Police History
You may remember last year the Biebs had a run in with the cops over an egging incident. It turns out he apparently made history that day. “No one’s ever gotten raided for eggs, ever,” he said. “It’s the first time.”
His Tattoos Make Him Soft, Not Hard
Asked about his epic ink (the Biebs has more than 20 tats) he said, “Maybe that’s like a cover for me being a softy.” Though he conceded in March of last year that he was done with getting tattoos for a while, he appears to have already changed his mind. “I want ‘LL’ tatted right here,” he said pointing to his chest. “When you’re Low, Lift. Because we often want to keep our heads down. But we should life our heads.”

He’s a “Relationship Guy”
Though he has had an off-on relationship with Selena Gomez for years, Bieber said he prefers to be “on” than “off.” “I’m very much a relationship guy,” he said. “I like to bounce ideas off the person that I love. I like having a real connection…” As for what he thinks makes a woman date-worthy, he finds jean shorts, tank tops and spandex sexy. And if you’re a guy, just be Ben Affleck. “I think his vibe is cool.”
He Never Wants to Grow Up
The Biebs thinks that his maturity has been skewed by his celebrity status, stating it’s “almost like I grew up for the public but I didn’t necessarily grow up. There were things I had to do, as far as the way I had to make relationships, and conversation, but as far as actually growing up, there were a lot of things I missed out on.” Having said that, he admitted he wanted to preserve “that sense of purity inside of me.”
