Sharlene Rädlein was crowned Miss Universe Jamaica 2015 at the end of the pageant held on August 29, 2015 at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel. With her title as Miss Jamaica her goal is to inspire people with her story of perseverance and “never giving up on your dreams”. She believes we all have a story to tell. “It would also be an honour to represent this beautiful land of my birth and be an ambassador of goodwill.” she said.

Kaci Fennell represented Jamaica at Miss Universe 2014 in Doral Miami. She was the winner for a lot of people. She only placed as 4th runner-up to Paulina Vega of Colombia. It is a very contoversial decision because when Jamaica was called 4th runner-up the crowd started booing because they thought that Jamaica would win.
Also, her elegance in the evening gown competition rocking that short hair and her amazing answer in the Question & Answer thought that Jamaica will win Miss Universe. Jamaica gives its first placement since 2010 and its second Top 5 placement after 2010.
