do you guys have places there that are serene? maybe sa outskirts ng city........... more like rural......... something that times almost forgot? not like the city of manila, totally congested. I was there last year, although I kinda' liked it because it's the p.i., I'd rather go to the little towns and barrios better. just to get away from the smog.

hahaha! actually, devildawg is another nickname for US Army Airborne Rangers. Got the term when I was assigned to the unit. I think it's also a nickname for US Marine Force Recon units. Although, in street term, dawg means a male bitch.

I don't understand the lingo, but "kidnapon" coupled by the word "ransom" sounds like kidnap for ransom. muka "conspiracy to commit a felony" ang subject ngayon ha......... punishable by 10 to 20 yrs. in prison over here. hahaha! (joke!)

cebu is nice. I went there in 2004. the people are nice and very hospitable, especially the airport police. they made sure I'd get to my destination since I don't know anyone over there. what made it more interesting was a girl I met when I was there. the only thing about it that wasn't so attractive was the traffic jams similar to manila.

isn't posting in forums a part of this website? that's what I like about it.......... reading and responding to posts from people in this forum. yeah, I won't deny it, I may talk too much. I'm not the type that would just click on smiley faces. I even try to avoid posting "one-liners". it's better to be elaborate than to be misquoted and misunderstood.
I don't mind nor even is shy in sharing what I know (most are based on personal experience and research......... some are based on facts). It's up to the reader if they want to ignore my posts.......... I'm not holding a gun on their head and forcing them to read what I post.......... it's their prerogative if they want to read or just plainly ignore. that's why we're in this forum......... to share, learn, and make friends. I have this mentality that life means constant learning......... what better way to learn than through experience or through others. personally, I'd rather learn from different people on different walks of life than experience it the hard way.
furthermore, I post in english because it is my primary language. besides, I strongly believe that it shows respect for those who don't understand tagalog, since english is the international language that everyone here understands.

yeah. I enjoy unloading a few downrange. we have to qualify every other month with our service pistol and familiarization every month with the shotgun. the only thing I don't like about it is cleaning the weapon. so, when I go to public ranges, I just rent theirs. hehehe. para wala na linis.
I used to go to duarte. they have an indoor range over there......... but that was a long time ago. and then, I go up in the mountains......... less restriction and shoot at your own risk type deal. yeah, I guess we can do that.......... just need to find the time, though. let me know your schedule. 8)

it's unlawful to modify guns here. although, LAPD modified my backup (.38 snub) from single to double-action......... per department policy only. 8)

anyone can carry firearms (exceptions are assault rifles. i.e. AKs, M-16s, .332s, etc.). full-auto weapons such as tech 9s, mach 10s, etc. and sawed-off shotguns are definitely illegal to even own according to both federal and state laws. the weapon should be unloaded and in a locked box out of reach of driver or passengers (carried in the trunk) with ammunition separated (best in the car glove compartment). only to be transported to and from ranges. when stopped by law enforcement officers, one should disclose of the weapon and reason for carrying.
a CCW (carrying a concealed weapon or aka concealed carry) permit is not needed for such circumstances. professions such as armed security are usually granted permits but restricted for work purposes only........... carried to and from work only. law enforcement officers are allowed to carry weapons (types of firearms depending on their department policy) within their respective states only. so, I am allowed to carry my loaded weapon (in my person) anywhere within the state of California (includes schools, federal and state buildings, etc.) to my discretion, which I usually don't anyway. I'd be breaking the law if I carry one in Las Vegas. Federal law enforcement officers are allowed to carry weapons throughout the continental US. hope that helps. 8)
