Like I said, I have not made up my mind yet as to who to vote for as next President.
But definitely, I will vote for either Dick Gordon, Gilbert Teodoro, Manny Villar, or Noynoy Aquino this coming May 2010.
I can only wish that the losing candidates would be given a chance to serve in the next administration. Just like in the U.S., where Hillary Clinton, who lost to Obama as the Democrat standard bearer, is now the Secretary of State. For I am sure they would be very useful to the new leadership if we are to progress as a nation.
It is a bit sad that even before we have conducted the elections, people are already accusing certain candidates of cheating. It is not fair to Gilbert Teodoro to say that the automated election is already "programmed" to make him win. Let us try to study some more the "ins-and-outs" of the computer program and check how fool-proof it is against hacking or cheating. We have poll watchers from political parties to report any cheating. We have "Boto Mo, Ipatrol Mo" from ABS-CBN, and even from other media outfits and religious groups who will reveal any irregularities.
Hence, let's all hope for the best this coming May 2010. Lets hope that the most qualified and dedicated candidate would win and that his win is legitimate and free from cheating (and sourgraping).

MANILA, Philippines - A total of 52% of Filipinos would have picked Sen. Benigno 'Noynoy' Aquino III while 44% would have chosen Sen. Manny Villar had a two-man presidential race been held last December 27 to 28, according to a special Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey commissioned by the Villar camp.
The survey, disclosed by the SWS on Thursday, asked 2,100 respondents the question: Among the names found in this list, who will you probably vote for as President of the Philippines if elections were held today?
The survey has a plus/minus 2.2% margin of error.
The SWS said it disclosed the results of the survey on Thursday after the sponsor authorized its release.
The same question was asked in an October 1-4 SWS survey. The results showed that 65% would have chosen Aquino, while 28% would have picked Villar.
The Villar camp said the survey results showed that Villar had significantly cut Aquino's lead from 37 percentage points in October to 8 percentage points in December.
Other scenarios
Aside from a list that contained only the names of Aquino and Villar, the respondents were also asked to choose from lists that had more names of presidential candidates, namely: former President Joseph Estrada, Lakas-Kampi-CMD's Gilbert Teodoro, Brother Eddie Villanueva, Sen. The last reputable surveys done after the filing of certificates of candidacy show three presidential candidates at the top: Noynoy Aquino in the mid to high forties, Manny Villar and Erap Estrada in a virtual tie at 20 or 19 percentage points. And Gilbert Teodoro, the man anointed by the once humongous Partido Lakas-Kampi founded by Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, incumbent and long-staying president of the benighted republic, at low single-digit numbers. The rest are also-rans, at 1 percentage point or even lower.
Why the regime’s anointed is languishing at bottom lows, despite the vaunted party machinery, the well-placed ads projecting competence and intelligence (“galing at talino”), and despite inarguably better speaking and debating skills than the competition, is attributable to the public belief that he is “Gloria’s man”, the chosen “one”, the person she deems most fit to succeed and most acceptable to her. Unfortunately for him, the person who chose him above all else happens to be most distrusted by the population. That distrust for his patroness drags Gibo down, never mind his personal qualities. It carries over to his persona, reinforced in no small measure by his having expressed not only the usual paeans of gratitude, but a public admiration for her “ many achievements”, something clearly the people do not share. To do a volte face at this time will no longer be credible. Gilbert Teodoro’s chances are thus virtually nil. Even Ronaldo Puno’s vaunted skills cannot resurrect flagging hopes. Nor Virgilio Garcillano’s magic make the trick. Perhaps if Norberto Gonzales succeeds in discombobulating everything and upsetting the applecart of elections… perhaps, but that’s a big IF, and assuming the guy and his patroness can pull it through, will the people ever be so supine as to take such adventurism lying down?
It does not help Teodoro one whit that his patroness has filed her certificate of candidacy for the second congressional district of Pampanga. The undisguised attempt to pull strings even beyond her wished-for political demise, ruling beyond the grave as it were, makes Teodoro look all the more the puppet that he is unfairly made to be. Yesterday, the papers carried Speaker Prospero Nograles’ inclusion of the call for a constitutional convention, as if to further stress the GMA plan so obvious. But because Gibo’s presidential ambition is singularly anchored on the support of her party and its minions across the archipelago, he cannot publicly balk. In fact, he is on record as supporting a change in the Constitution. While amending the fundamental law is right, espousing it at the moment when people so clearly distrust the sincerity of the incumbent is off-key. Gilbert cannot even publicly state that if elected president, he will wield his influence to ensure that GMA does not become his Speaker of the House. So, whether for better, or predictably for worse, Gloria’s distrust rating will be albatross around Gilbert’s neck. His goose is cooked, never mind how often Prospero Pichay or Mitos Magsaysay whistle in the dark.
Which brings me to this story: A few days before Manny Pacquiao knocked down Ricky Hatton in early May, the spouses Cynthia and Manuel Villar flew to Spain . Likewise, Gloria flew to Egypt and Syria for official visits. Why she had to go to these North African countries the public was never clear at, but in any case, they took it as just one of her usual flights of fancy. The Villars were waiting in Spain for cues from a well-placed Gloria crony, who was supposed to arrange a rendezvous with her in some warm Mediterranean coast.
Fortunately, this writer found out about the Villar travel plans. And so, just as Dona Gloria landed in Egypt , the cat was out of the bag. Expectedly, Malacanang made denials. Senadora Jamby Madrigal got into the act, and denounced Villar for desperately seeking La Gloria’s support in his attempt to derail the Senate ethics probe. This after all, was Villar’s immediate problem. The attempted rendezvous panned out.
But then, and here our travel facts jibe with the veracity of highly reliable sources, a top-level meeting was supposed to have yet pushed through here in the country. And GMA, wanting for a strong contender her PaLaKa simply could not pull off from its hat, warmed up to the idea of Villar as her “secret” candidate. Classified as opposition, though not an “obstructionist” nor a GMA basher as the rest of the presidential pack, Villar qualified as an acceptable alternative bet. Moreover, he was already ahead of her vice-president, Noli de Castro in the May surveys. Better yet, he had wherewithal to the max, the result of “smart” transactions capped by an even “smarter” IPO of his real estate empire the year before. Noli she had to spend for, while with Manny, she gets a free ride.
The result of the “transaction” as my source confided, is that GMA would endorse a “weak” but credible enough candidate, and not “encourage” Noli to run for president, a prospect that the not-so-ambitious vice-president was not inordinately “lusting” for. And on his part, Villar would keep dangling a “repeat vice-president” string, loaded with generous freebies, to his bosom friend Noli, a “red herring” of an offer. If GMA would have a weak official candidate, Manny with his huge war chest would prevail in the 2010 derby, the ideal surrogate. Neat.
After all, Lacson had withdrawn; Escudero had no money and would have to rely on Danding and Ramon Ang’s promises; Mar Roxas and Loren Legarda were languishing in single-digit survey static; and Erap would be disqualified. And true enough, when the SWS polled in mid-June 2009, it was a statistical tie among Villar, Chiz and Erap, with Noli behind, Loren and Mar even more so. Teodoro had launched his clumsy disaster preparedness infomercial a month before, its debut timed with Hatton’s early knock-out from the Pacman’s fists, and while everybody shook his head at his “late” entry and doubted his chances, most agreed he had intellectual credentials, credibility as candidate but not enough to win. Gravitas, but not votes.
And then the Lord writ His providence with sad tidings. On August 1, Corazon Aquino died after a long bout with cancer, and the political stage shook underneath. Forty days later, a game changer came in with Noynoy on the presidential trail. All previous assumptions changed, including the fortunes of Gloria’s pre-arranged surrogate. Likely unstoppable winner became a distant second, despite tons and tons of creative advertising and a bevy of turncoats. From September till December of the year past, Noynoy kept his commanding lead. Escudero withdrew, Erap persists, but Gibo continues to languish in the political netherworld.
And that is where the woman of the decade finds immediate political dilemma at this point in time. Her anointed has not risen, and her alternate, though far from victory, presents the single most “possible” threat to the front-runner she could not accept because he is the least likely to “transact”.
If creative advertising and a well-run because well-funded campaign pulls Villar up in the next three months, and a demolition job somehow pushes down Noynoy’s lead considerably (or so the evil are planning), then it’s game for Manny and goodbye for Gibo. Garci and the “operators” should be able to do the trick, with Smartmatic laying the predicate.
But would Manny the new president be faithful to his “no me impune” assurances? Why not?
They would need each other most after a certifiably controversial “election”. She with her residual powers as “commander-in- chief” between May 10 and June 30 just might be able to quell the tumult of the rabble. That’s why Del Bangit and the Class of ’78 are in the “proper” places. And he would at least be able to recover his billions, while stopping prosecution for “smart” deals made as congressman, Speaker, senator and Senate President, charges with enough documentary evidence to prosecute, but parried successfully by “smart” propaganda so far. Never mind if he has to deal with “her” congressmen with her, (misma!) as Speaker. If he is off to wobbly start, he would not get his bearings composed, and she, as “Speaker” and alternate “power center”, just might be able to pull off her parliamentary dreams of becoming the prime minister.
There you are — “her” real man for the May elections. God save this country.

Because in the first place, I'm not a politician (in fact, even politicians change parties as fast as they change cars). But I am in business, who must maintain a civil, working relationship with any political administration.

What significant performance can he boast of? Thats the big worry. So I am not endorsing any candidate but I encourage everyone to think hard before casting your vote.

oh yes. including the salaries. for how can the government attract bright technocrats if the salary is way below what is offered in the private sector? the only difference between the government and a business organisation is that the government, in its pursuit to promote the common good, can embark on missionary projects even if these are just "break-even" or even if it's losing money. An example would be to provide electricity or construct a bridge to a far-flung barrio. A business organisation may not do such thing because it is profit-oriented.

Hello unlighted side,
To begin with, let me tell you that in corruption there is only one side: THE BAD SIDE.
And to sum up the defense put up by Villar's lawyer contending that MCTEP and C-5 Extension Project are two separate things, it is a vain attempt to cover up the real story and to confuse the mind of the people to hide the EVIL MIND's scheme.
Now, let me inform you that there was already a private contractor: UEM-MARA Philippines, a consortium of Malaysian investors with Filipino counterparts. UEM-MARA had actually started the project by constructing the pavement. But when it found out the construction of the NEW C-5 DESIGN caused by Villar, it stopped and withdrew from the project. Worse, the decision to stop came at a time when it had already spent for the pavement they constructed. Now, is this fair to UEM-MARA Phils. that the government would in fact kill their investments? How will it get back their investments?
What made UEM-MARA to back out is that they realized there was this NEW C-5 being constructed also adjacent to MCTEP. Their logic is simple: WHO AMONG THE MOTORISTS COMING FROM SLEX OR C-5 PORTION IN TAGUIG WHO WILL USE THEIR ROADS FOR A FEE when their is exactly this NEW C-5 running adjacent that is as good yet FOR FREE?
This explains the reason why no contractor would come in place of the one that backed out.
Remember that the NEW DESIGN OF C-5 EXTENSION PROJECT was approved to start from South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) and to run in parallel and adjacent with the ORIGINAL C-5 EXTENSION PROJECT for three kilometers along Merville or so before it veers to the right to run adjacent to Bro. Mike Velarde's Multinational Village for also three kilometers or so. After running aside with Multinational Village, the NEW C-5 DESIGN veers back, to the left, to form an "S" curve running through Villar's subdivision and the last leg of the "S" curve passing through Velarde's village. From the edge of the "S" curve, the NEW C-5 DESIGN runs straight down south, but this time OVERLAPPING THE OLD C-5 DESIGN for about 200 meters until it reaches SUCAT ROAD (A. Santos AVe.) in Parañaque. From that intersection of Sucat, the NEW C-5 DESIGN went down further to the south as the so-called "Las Piñas-Parañaque Link Road," passing through Pulang Lupa where Crown Asia of Villar holds forth. Upon the other hand, THE OLD C-5 DESIGN went from Sucat Road to the right, forming a 90% angle from the said Link Road, to connect to the Coastal Road in Binakayan where you can see the Fisherman's Wharf beside the bridge. Then from the end of the Link Road, the new C-5 Design connected to Molino Road in Cavite to form the so-called Molino Extension Road connecting to Aguinaldo Highway right where you can see the St. Dominic Hospital and Tropical Hut.
So that, the question that Villar has not answered up to today: ASSUMING THAT THE OLD C-5 DESIGN or the so-called "MCTEP" is different from the NEW C-5 DESIGN,will proceeding with the OLD C-5 DESIGN still economically viable, when the government, through the Public Estates Authority (PEA), had already paid P1.7 billion to landowners from whom it bought the right of way for the OLD C-5 DESIGN approved during the time of Marcos? If VILLAR will insist on "yes," tell that to the marines! If you were the motorist, "unlighted side," will you still drive through MCTEP when there is an adjacent road equally good but for free? Will you still drive through the OLD C-5 ROUTE when your first exit after reaching the Coastal Road is the foot of the Cavite flyover that is about 200 meters from St. Dominic Hospital where the NEW C-5 DESIGN IS FOUND BEFORE GOING TO THE STILL-TO-BE CONSTRUCTED EXTENSION OF THE COASTAL ROAD?
I have read the responses of Villar's lawyer at the same site long ago. The responses are not meritorious AND EVASIVE of the real issue that is corruption.
The answer that the NEW C-5 EXTENSION project is an alternative free highway smacks of a "PILOSOPO TASYO" argument. How can you call the new C-5 extension design an alternate to a tollway when there is no more tollway to start with because that will no longer be constructed because NOT ONE INVESTOR will invest on it anymore. How can there be an alternate when there is nothing to alter because MCTEP will no longer exist in fact?
Now, it is erroneous for the Villar lawyer to argue that MCTEP is a single entry/exit road while the new C-5 design is an open-access highway on any of its parts. Why? The lawyer must be hiding the fact that then DPWH Secretary Gregorio Vigilar approved in December of 1998 as the chairman of the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) the exits proposed by Villar, Velarde and Henry Sy.
NOW, how can the lawyer of Villar say that MCTEP is an elevated highway while the new C-5 design is a surface road? If I were to believe in this, then there must be no more need for MCTEP to pay for right of way for lands because it is elevated above the houses, anyway, like the very long viaduct from Pulilan (Bulacan) to San Simon (Pampanga). And since there is an actual overlap of 200 meters or so at the end of the "S" curve to Sucat Road, does it mean to say that MCTEP will be a second-floor highway? Is it like the SKYWAY in SLEX where the toll is more than double the price compared to passing through the surface road of SLEX? Oh come on.
Now, the said lawyer, whoever is she or he, erroneously stated that MCTEP and the new C-5 Design are "duplicate" of each other. Kindly advise this lawyer to check the dictionary what is the meaning of "duplicate." He must know that "duplicate" is an exact copy of the original. How can this lawyer say so after elaborating on the distinctions or differences between the OLD C-5 design (MCTEP) and the NEW C-5 Design? When there are distinctions, then the two can never be a duplicate of one another.
Now, when MCTEP was approved by Marcos, it was approved with the name: C-5 (Circumferential Road 5) South Extension. The new C-5 design, that was stretched by Villar to three kilometers more, is named also as C-5 South Extension. So where is the difference?
Where is the economics of this lawyer and Villar that he had to pursue the new C-5 design when doing so would entail a cost of Six Billion Pesos to the government during these times when the government has been borrowing heavily to arrest the bloating deficit of at least 300 billion pesos?
ONE MORE WORD. It is incorrect for other Villar lawyers to argue: it was not Villar who sold his lands for the NEW C-5 Extension project, BUT IT WAS the government that bought his lands. My golly! Have they known that when the spouses Villar proposed the NEW C-5 Extension design, their subdivisions were already there?

Q: How large are the Villar company landholdings in the immediate vicinity of the questioned road projects?
A: At least 50-52 hectares: 40 hectares in the vicinity of the LPPLP; 10-12 hectares in the area between Sucat Road and Multinational Avenue. Q: What is the involvement of Villar in CX-5 and LPPLP?
A: 1. The Project Feasibility Study of the DPWH for CX-5 states: “The conceptualization of and the initial release of funds for the CX-5 Project was initiated by Sen. Manuel Villar whose same efforts also paved the way for the funding of the Las Piñas-Parañaque Link Road [LPPLP]”; 2. Various insertions and amendments (Priority Development Assistance Fund, read pork barrel) in the national government budget over the years 2002-2008 for CX-5 and LPPLP; 3. Adriano (cited above), in the office of and presence of Villar, dictating to the director general of the Senate’s Legislative Budget Research and Monitoring Office (LBRMO) Villar’s proposed amendments to the 2008 budget, including a P400-million appropriation for the CX-5.. Q: Were the Villar properties bought for road right-of-way overpriced?
A: SR 780 argues for the affirmative; PSR 1472 (the resolution signed by Villar and his allies exonerating him from all charges) argues for the negative. This calls for a conclusion of the reader. And to help that along, I have—based on the documented prices and acreage of the lands purchased in connection with the LPPLP—computed the weighted average prices that were paid for the Villar and related properties, and those paid for the non-Villar properties. The results: The Villar/related properties, comprising 23,455 square meters, were bought for P168.1 million. The non-Villar properties, comprising 11,685 square meters, were bought for P22 million. That comes to a weighted average of P7,168 per square meter for Villar’s properties, and P1,880 per square meter for the non-Villar properties. That has to be a statistically significant difference.
Given the above facts—which no one can contest, since they are based on official documents, and not on a he-says-she- says set of assertions—it has to be reasonable to conclude:
1. Since there was already an ongoing project (the MCTEP) linking C-5 to the Coastal Road, it was totally unnecessary to build a second one.
2. Which means that there was a waste of scarce resources. Instead of using only P2.6 billion of government funds for the first project, the government had to spend an additional P6.9 billion for the second, which practically duplicated the first, except for the additional length which happily for Senator Villar, traversed his properties.
3. This unnecessary, wasteful project was certainly Villar’s idea. It is specious to argue that it is a DPWH project. As the DPWH feasibility study states (in black and white), both the CX-5 and the LPPLP were conceived and initially funded by Villar.
4. Villar benefited tremendously from the second project. Certainly, his companies were paid significantly more per square meter for the road right of way (which were mostly bought from him). But that pales into insignificance compared with the tremendous increase in the values of his real estate holdings in the area—at least 50-52 hectares.
Is he blameless? Is the Pope protestant?

And we need a decisive President who will do as follows:
1. Reduce or eliminate the pork barrel of legislators - This will drastically improve our country's fiscal condition. A strong leader is needed in order to carry this out.
2. Reduce or eliminate corruption in key government agencies - Without the pork barrel of legislators, infrastructure projects will now be under the care of DOTC, DPWH, etc. Hence, Corruption must be removed from these agencies as well as in BIR and Customs. If corruption is eliminated and collection is improved, then perhaps tax rates can be lowered.
3. Appoint a competent team to run the cabinet and GOCCs - We need a leader who will appoint technocrats based on qualification and competence and not because this guy or his family or company has donated money during his campaign.
4. Resist the charter change from an Arroyo-led Congress - GMA, being the next House Speaker will try to change the form of government to Parliamentary so she can become Prime Minister (who has no term limits). This will cause political instabilities that can hurt our economy. The next President has to be strong enough to nip this in the bud before this move goes out of hand.
5. Provide a fair an level playing field for business and entrepreneurs - Entrepreneurship is the lifeblood of every economy and the next President must resist the pressure from large conglomerates and multinational companies in order to promote entrepreneurship in this country. So that competition will be better and fair. So that consumers will have better products, better services, at lower prices.
Doing the above 5 items alone would already work wonders to our country. God bless the Philippines.

i'm still affected with Noynoy's performance of zero number of bills filed (and naturally, zero bills passed into law). what has he been doing in the Senate? Fellow senators Dick Gordon and Manny Villar has lots of bills filed and passed into law (among other significant accomplishments). The only stinging issue with Villar is the C-5 controversy. And the fear that he may do similar things during his Presidency if ever elected.

The Psychologist conducting the interviews noticed that the patient would occasionally walk slowly and aimlessly around the room when being interviewed. He appeared inattentive, vague, non-spontaneous and detached in interactions, but passively followed simple commands. He appeared disoriented. There was some difficulty in communicating due to his deep depression and melancholia. On mental state examination, he was a lanky man of medium height who was mildly psychomotor retarded with a latency of verbal replies, and a slowness of movement. He was preoccupied with his inner thoughts, brooded and felt melancholy. He appeared quite elevated and irritable when he spoke of the loss he was feeling when he recounted his relationship with his girlfriend. He expressed a poorly-formed grandiose delusion that the world was ending and described feelings of foreboding but no disturbance in any other sensory modality. The patient was oriented in person and place, with only very mild impairment of time. Attention and concentration deficits were evident, though much in the slightest and confirmed on formal testing that he had minor difficulty in counting down by seven from 100 and could not readily spell some words backwards. Registration and short term memory were intact on testing but he was often distracted and distant. There was evidence of dysphagia, mild difficulty with three-step commands, concretism and trial-constructional dyspraxia (he could not copy complex diagrams). No confabulation or remote memory deficits were identified. His Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) score totaled 28/30. No cognitive impairments. He denied being in need of medical assistance and explained his presence in the school as being due to his sister's concerns, but did not appear suspicious of possible motives or irritated by his presence in the department. He denied that he had any cognitive deficits. He said he required medication and dietary modification, but did not accept medication offered in fact requiring detailed explanation on why the medication had to be taken.
In as much as the patient exhibits the following symptoms (1) Depressed mood (i.e. feeling sad and empty) most of the day for 10 days, (2) Markedly diminished interest on pleasure in almost all activities (including lack of sexual interest) most of the day for 10 days, (3) A noticeable fluctuation of appetite most of the day for 10 days, (4) Psychomotor agitation or retardation (i.e. increased restlessness) most of the day for 10 days, (5) A diminished ability to concentrate ordering on indecisiveness most of the day for 10 days, (6) Insomia nearly everyday, (7) Fatigue nearly everyday , And (8) a feeling of foreboding everyday. He is diagnosed as suffering from Major Depressive Disorder.

• avoids negative campaigning to give the voters the opportunity to understand his platform and how he intends to govern and serve;
• remains cool under fire, takes tough stands, makes hard decisions, sticks to his convictions especially in the most difficult circumstances;
• is a good listener and integrator of good ideas;
• is a proven negotiator and will be able to hold his own in the competitive arena of geopolitics and international relations;
• is genuinely presidential, a natural leader;
• is comfortable with outliers.
My choice for president respects institutions and works through the system. He is a reformer; dedicated public servant; circumspect politician; served in two branches of government; respects judicial processes; has demonstrated moral courage within his area of responsibility. He remains focused on serving higher interests, namely, national interests. He has a keen sense of nationhood that is crucial for anyone aspiring for the presidency.
My presidential candidate is an underdog even in his own party, stabbed in the front, back and sides by treacherous party mates and principals who have come to realize that he is his own man and cannot be controlled to do their bidding, meaning, protect them for their past wrongdoings once he's president. This should dispel presumptions or fears of coddling. They’ve called for his resignation and endorsed a rival party’s candidate. He is a non- traditional politician that prefers the high to the low road.
He has received basic, higher and postgraduate education from schools that I identify with; and comes from a decent family. His father, famously, could not be swayed to do the bidding of the dictator’s wife, and kept faith with the principle that public office is a public trust. That reflects strength of character based on strong ethics-based convictions.
I say this with a healthy respect for all the other candidates, black propaganda aside, some of who are well known to me. They too could or would be a breath of fresh air and sunlight in a room darkened and smelly from accumulated filth like, for example, Noynoy, Eddie, Nicky, Dick and possibly even a transformed Erap. Their past, fact or fiction, is not as important as to what they are today and what they could be tomorrow. However, the candidate of my choice after months of keen observation stands a head taller than the rest.
So, I have finally reached a decision. Win or lose, it will not be a wasted vote. Mine will be an informed vote on May 10. I choose Gilbert Teodoro for President.

I have also evaluated Gibo and indeed he is qualified to become President.
The only worrisome part is how he handled stressful moments. For example, he abandoned the NPC in order to join Lakas-KAMPI and eventually maneuver his way to become it's standard bearer. This move did not sit well with his political godfather and uncle, danding Cojuangco. In fact, Danding's wife was so vocal in her disdain for Gibo.
Another situation was when he was dealing with a lot of internal problems within Lakas-KAMPI. For unclear reasons, there was a mass exodus of Lakas members towards other political parties. But instead of dealing with this problem, he resigned as party chairman and instead just focused on his presidential bid.
At the end of the day, it is not only the candidiate's resume and credentials that we base our decisions on. It is on how he works with other people. And how stable he is as a team leader. In fact, as of now, we can rarely find his running mate, Edu, in his political sorties. I guess the guy must be asking for additional talent fees? His choice of team members and senatorial slate is really in question also.
No wonder he's trailing badly behind Noynoy, Villar, and even Erap in the surveys. And if you ask me, I am disappointed with the way things turned out for Gibo. And he unfortunately is mainly to be blamed for his situation right now.

Noynoy, Villar and Erap - i have worse concerns about them as compared to what you pointed out. Gibo still is my better option. I believe he is the ONE who deserves my vote and chance to lead towards a better Philippines, and I think i would be proud to have him as president as compared to the other three. My personal opinion also.

In the past elections, approximately at this juncture (i.e. few days before election) people are busy collecting their 'inangayan'. For those unfamiliar with the word, 'inangayan' means 'your share' (of the cake). Literally, it is the amount of money given to an individual from candidates' local leaders. To be blatant, it is the money to buy an individual's vote in favor of the candidate shelling out the money.
Many individuals won't identify their political leanings hence they get their 'inangayans' from all candidates. Dawat, left and right. Napay uban mag ilog tawon sa 'inangayan'. Vote-buying... grabiha, mao nay election Philippine style.

Let's avoid an Erap presidency. I dont know about what some of you did but I was one of those who joined the rallies at Ortigas (during EDSA 2) which led Erap to step down. I dont want to do it again.
If he wins, it only means that the Philippines is a country of stupid people, by stupid people, and for stupid people.

Well actually everytime man mo daug si Pacman,,,naga pakaon na sya sa mga tao didto Sa GenSan,,,,my only concern is that murag dili suitable sa iyaha ang mo run for Politics since as a Congressman they are responsible in governing the laws bitaw.....I love Pacman kay taga amo gud na...as a Boxer but not as a Politician,,i just have a bad feeling na gamiton lang sya sa mga dautang tao and it will ruin his image as a World Boxing Champ. ;)
