guess who i would bump into at mc donalds - bq mall, tagbilaran city, bohol last friday, february 19, 2010? believe it or not but Donald Joseph “DJ” Qualls who debuted in Road Trip as shy virgin Kyle Edwards. He wowed us also in the sci-fi film The Core which also starred Academy Aweard winner Hillary Swank. he played the role of the computer hacker named 'Rat"
i was with a group of friends at that time and on a dare, i approached him while he was at the counter ordering a big mac and i asked" hey, arent you the guy on road trip and the core?" he nodded shyly and his companions exclaimed "wow! everyone knows you dude!"
i asked him what he's doing in bohol and he replied that he is shooting a hollywood film! wow! he has been here in our lovely island of bohol the past two weeks
DJ QULLS strikes me as the unassuming quiet type without the airs of a bankable hollywood star

actually he was with some familiar character actors from hollywood as well... last feb 20, sat, i also had the luck of interviewing the breathtakingly beautiful and elegant angel aquino at the metrocenter hotel... very simple and down- to- earth
