Bb. Pilipinas Universe Rachel Peters returned to her home province Camarines Sur, where the locals warmly welcomed her back.
Peters thanked her supporters for coming out to celebrate her homecoming and declared herself a "proud Bicolana."
Peters won the top crown at the Bb. Pilipinas pageant, held on April 30.

MANILA – KC Concepcion may have not been visible on television lately, but there’s something her fans could look forward to next month.
In an interview on Wednesday, Concepcion revealed that she has been handpicked to return as a host for the Binibining Pilipinas 2017 pageant.
Concepcion also had the same role last year along with actor Xian Lim.
“Sobrang naging busy ako this March and this April, but I will be hosting Binibining Pilipinas so that’s going to be fun,” she said.
She, however, refused to disclose whether she has future acting projects coming up.
“We are keeping it under wraps first habang wala pang confirmed. But I am very thankful. ABS-CBN is really my home pagdating sa TV talaga,” she said.
Concepcion said she has more hosting stints coming up and she is happy about it because “yun naman talaga ang first love ko.”
Concepcion’s last acting project was in 2014 when she starred in the daytime drama anthology series “Give Love on Christmas” opposite Paulo Avelino.

Stephanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico was crowned Miss World 2016 on Sunday, edging out runners-up from the Dominican Republic and Indonesia winning the top prize in the 66th edition of the pageant held this year in the United States.
Del Valle, 19, is a brown-eyed brunette student who speaks Spanish, English and French, and hopes to get into the entertainment industry.Crowned by Miss World 2015 Mireia Lalaguna of Spain, Del Valle called it an "honor and a great responsibility" to represent her Caribbean homeland. She becomes the second titleholder from the island after Wilnelia Merced won the title in 1975.
