All systems go for the 2011 MR. GAY WORLD PAGEANT in Manila!
Reigning Mr. Gay World 2010 Charl Van Den Berg (above) answers questions at this afternoon’s (12/09/10) press conference set as the formal launching of the 2011 MR. GAY WORLD while the pageant’s President Eric Butter looks on. For the first time in history, the international pageant for the world’s most gorgeous gay men will take place right here in Manila within the second week of March 2011. The Philippines will be represented by Sherwin Limon Abuel who won the local contest last July of this year. The pageant focuses on the Red Ribbon Campaign ‘to honor those lost to AIDS, to create awareness of AIDS/HIV transmission, to let people be aware of the needs of Persons with AIDS, and to call for more funding of services and research’.
