Here is the tournament flyer and entry form for the upcoming Glendale Tennis Championships (April 6, 7 and 8, 2012) at Fremont Park, Glendale, CA....
Submit your entry form early, as we will likely have an even bigger pool of participants this year (considering last year's highly successful tournament)....
We may have to put a limit on some of the draws (especially the 4.0 level, which has been the most popular)....
We encourage more female players to participate...Spread the word!

Hello again Tennis Friends,
 
To those of you who are concerned about conflicting work schedule, Fremont Park is equipped for night time play, and as such, we can schedule your April 6 (Friday) match(es) after work hours, between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.....
 
The Saturday and Sunday (April 7 and matches will be played from 8:00 am onwards....

Hello GCTC members/friends,
 
We have decided to move the Glendale Tennis Championships tournament to April 13, 14 and 15.....
 
In order to accommodate participants' work schedule, the April 13 (Friday) matches can or will be played in the evening time (from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.)....The April 14 and 15 matches will be played all day starting at 8:00 a.m.
 
We will do our best to accommodate participants' USTA league schedule....
 
Submission of entry forms remain the same: March 25....
 
We will post or email the new flyer and entry form soon....

Hello all,
 
The rain last Friday messed up our schedule quite a bit, but we were able to complete the tournament by late Sunday afternoon.....I appreciate those who had to wait hours to play their matches (especially Allan Magpayo, who was the runner up in the men's 3.5 singles).....
 
I also appreciate those who came a long distance to participate in the tournament, namely, Dr. Omar Cabahug, Dr. Rene Mauban, and Dr. Eileen Mauban who come all the way from Las Vegas....And the cities/clubs of Carson, Walnut, Chase, Arroyo Seco, Shatto Park, and West L.A. were well represented in the tourney...
 
To the winners and runners up of the tournament, please give us 2 to 3 weeks for your trophies or personalized nametags to be delivered....
 
We will soon be posting pictures taken of the tournament on our Facebook page:  Gctc Tennis
