Do I need a fishing license to fish from the Redondo Beach Pier?

No, you do not need a license to fish from the Redondo Beach Pier. State law allows for free public fishing from pier structures. Please consult California's Department of Fish and Game as to when you need a permit to fish.

What a wonderful Redondo Beach Pier!  A rather large pier offers plenty to do from morning till' sun down. Fun for the whole family, friends, like last sunday morning (January  20, 2013) when Andy and family decided to go for a quick lunch. There saw some people wanted to go fishing,  did not catch a fish except some good memories,!
