watching lovers naglandi-an in Chinatown, on the one hand, envied them. But, on the other hand, wondered what "oao" means to each couple -- "one and only" or "one among others"?  ???
Perhaps, for most, it's partner for the night only. I.e., just a 1-off date. :-\ ;)
