Two of my favorite pastas, i love them both

Carbonara Sauce

Carbonara:
100 g bacon cut into small cubes
1 onion diced
2 Tbsp olive oil
300 g cream
6 egg yolks
30 g parmesan cheese
Salt & fresh ground black pepper.
Sauté diced bacon & onions in olive oil in a large skillet over low heat till soft & translucent for about 4 minutes. Stir cream, egg yolks, parmesan cheese & season with salt & pepper.Mix all together with hot cooked pasta & breifly heat stirring from time to time avoiding boiling the sauce otherwise egg yolks will set and lose their ability to bind the sauce. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese after serving in plates.
Marinara sauce is mainly tomato & onion. Try the above recipe for the Carbonara & u'll never regret it.
Bon Apetit.

Marinara Sauce

Marinara is tomato "ragu" based sauce, Carbonara is with panchetta (Italian bacon), peas, egg and cheese, more like a creamy sauce, not red like marina..
