Had more than enough of sharing my blessings with people back home. Only to end up having them exhibit too much dependence on me.
As said, "nagsalig" is a deeply rooted evil in our society which ought to be weeded out and be rid off completely. Instead, o/s Pinoys are encouraging people back home to cultivate it. Sending home periodic remittances without making them accountable.
Anyway, have fun carrying the cross all by yourself. You have a lifetime to share your blessings with them.
