Precisely the reason for posting Australian mining job opportunities here. So you can strike it rich. Whether you'll want to go back home afterwards, is another story. Daghan kaaung mga parasites sa ato. Huk2Xan kag maau. Bsag unsa lai pangayoon. Hehe  :) ;)
Looking back through all those years, shouldn't have been sending them periodic remittances. They ended up exhibiting too much dependence on me. Not interested in migrating here. When I refrained from sending money, nangawas ang mga drama, "C Juan abi kai dato na gikalimtan na lang mi nga nag 1-day-1-eat lang". Blah3X! ::) 8)

If there's a chance of it opening up.
They hear a voice in the hall outside,
And hope that it just passes by."

Always, there are 2 sides to a coin.

In my view, best is to live in the Philippines and be receiving generous periodic remittances from extremely benevolent benefactors like skipper.

Counting the Cost - Betting on Macau

Published on Feb 2, 2013
This week on Counting the Cost we look at one of the world's most unique economies. Macau's economy expanded 14 percent last year and shows no signs of slowing down. In fact, quite the opposite. If all predictions are correct, the former Portuguese colony will have the fastest growing economy in the world this year with an unemployment rate of two percent. But all this is dependent on gambling, which makes up 95 percent of Macau's economy. So, will its reliance on high-rolling gamblers put Macau's economy at risk?

In the lingo of casinos, they're known as "whales" - high rollers who wager hundreds of thousands of dollars on a single bet.

Many are Chinese billionaires, who've helped transform Macau and Singapore into some of the world's biggest gambling destinations. Other countries, such as Australia, want a slice of this over-stuffed pie.
