Most of my friends here, when their parents came, nangausab gyud dagan sa ilahang kinabuhi dire
Lisud sad btw ning kina-iya sa mga tiguang sa ato -- magpa-importante. Lisud pasabton nga dili na mahimong dad-on sa abroad.

Different with one who's spent more than half of his life overseas. Especially me -- hangol og kuarta. ;D Inherited from my Chinese father. As Deng Xiao Peng said, "to be rich is glorious". :) ;)

Don't they have their own social gatherings? :-\

For my case, aron makabantay sa mga bata while at work. Saved money on day care. Also, ma was entitled to old-age pension. :) ;)

Unfortunately, in my case, giharang c ma. My siblings na-acclimatized na sa Filipino culture -- prefer an easy-going happy-go-lucky spendthrift life.
Unmindful that pa migrated from China with practically nothing. From scratch, quietly amassed a small fortune over time -- became reasonably rich.

Eventually, wa na mi magtingogay ni ma. Kai di na man ko magpadalag kuarta. Lisud kaau pasabton. Nag dialysis na ko ... moreover, thrown out of the matrimonial home by ex-.

Ganyan ang buhay of an OFW! :(

Oh, yeah, cost me a fortune to secure my Philippine passport. Had to get a travel agency to do it for me 'coz I was still working fulltime.

Ang mga tao sa amo lisud kaau masugo. >:(

Tell you what? Why don't you pay an immigration consultant to do the job? Daghan btw kag kuarta! Unsa man ka, Ilocano? ???

Mas maau mag-indefinite leave ka aron mopauli aron asikasohon nimo. Aron sad di ka boyboyon later on. ;D

Don't be surprised if, after all’s been said and done, someone's gonna say, "Nagusik2X lang ka sa imong kuarta bayad sa parallegal. Gihukhukan lang ka! Sulti pa lang ka nako, ako untai mo-asikaso. Sayon ra kaau na para nako. Daghan kaau kog kaila sa passport office". :D
