The Thai man who earned the ire of many Filipinos for posting insults on his Facebook page was deported Friday, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) said yesterday.
Prasertsri Kosin, who uses the handle “Koko Narak,” boarded Thai Airways flight TG625 to Thailand at around 8 p.m. on May 8, BI Commissioner Siegfred Mison said.
Kosin applied for voluntary deportation after he was terminated from his work at Cognizant Philippines, a business process outsourcing company based in Taguig City, and after he started receiving threats.
Even after his deportation, the BI said Kosin’s name would remain in their blacklist.
The BI charged Kosin with undesirability and he later admitted the charge by filing a petition for voluntary deportation. He was held at the BI’s Warden Facility in Camp Bagong Diwa until he was deported.
Kosin had called Filipinos “Pignoys,” “low-class slaves,” “stupid creatures” and “useless race in the world.”
The BI said Kosin prepared a handwritten letter of apology. He also said he had made Filipino friends and hopes to be allowed to return to the country.
