Miss United Continents 2016 is the 4th edition that was held in Ecuador. Jeslyn Santos was correctly predicted by various pageant fanatics and critics because they saw her very much ready to compete and win an international crown for her country. Jeslyn is the first Filipina to win Miss United Continents since its debut in 2012 in Ecuador.
Jeslyn bested 28 contestants in Guayaquil, Ecuador to clinch the title as the new Miss United Continents winner of 2016 edition. She was crowned by Nathalia Paiva Lago who was the winner of Miss United Continents 2015 from Brazil. Jeslyn Santos is also the first Asian delegate to win the title in Guayaquil, Ecuador on September 24, 2016.
