nasa tamang panahon lang
Said that just before getting married. Working in the mine, had more than enough for bahay, lupa at kotse. Was the right time. Oh, yeah, tama na tlg ang panahon for marriage.
Plan was to stay here 5 years max. Then, return home for good. Things changed. Political climate in Philippines became too unsafe to go home -- on the brink of civil war -- expected to fall into communism anytime soon. When things settled down, children were already deeply-rooted here. Not a good idea to uproot them and return home.
