VISION

"Your neighbor's vision is as true for him as your own vision is true
for you."

Truth is that when a rock hits your head, the skull cracks open.
Vision is that hitting a rock against a head is wrong,
because it is killing.

Yes, read that again. That is vision, not truth. In fact, most people
accept that killing is right in some instances. Such
as killing fellow creatures to eat them. Or killing tyrants who
torture or kill others.

We kill in war and sometimes as
punishment. Some people agree with these actions; some disagree. That
is because people have different visions.

We don’t have to agree with other people’s visions, but if we
want to get along without a whole lot more killing, it sure would
help if we respected other people’s visions a little more than we
do now.

HEARTRATE

Fitness tip. Get your heart-rate going for short spurts frequently
during the day. If you sit at the computer all day, as I do, try
getting up once every half hour and running up and down the stairs. Or
sprint to the mailbox and back. Or take 5 minutes on the trampoline.

Not only will you find that getting your heart moving keeps your
metabolism higher, but you will feel more energized, motivated and
happy with what you are doing.

NATURE

Nature is pretty awesome. Unfortunately, most people are stuck in
cities. This comes in handy when considering the distance to the
office, the school, the grocery store and so many other daily
activities. But it sure makes it hard to sit in front of a waterfall
or scan the horizon from a cliff, you know, the really important
things in life.

Even out here in Florida we have an amazing shortage of
waterfalls and cliffs. But we do have magazines and we do have the
Internet and we can view the most awesome waterfalls and the most
amazing panoramas as often as we wish.

You check your weight daily.

You check the stock market daily.

You check your horoscope daily.

Well, what about nature?

SUCCESS

"Success is where preparation and opportunity meet."

Prepare more

Create opportunities

The people most successful in life tend to do both. I was reading an
article not long ago about Bill Gates, the Beatles and a few others.
One of the common ingredients was the shear number of hours they spent
practicing when they were young, more than any of their
contemporaries. The preparation made them good. It made them ready to
capitalize on opportunities.

Sometimes opportunity knocks. Sometimes you have to create it. One of
the best ways to create opportunity is to offer to help people close
to where you want to be. This is a great way to learn, a great way to
find mentors, a great way to get close enough to see when an
opportunity arises and also close enough to jump in when it does.

SOCIALIZE

Studies have shown that when you’re feeling down and feel live
withdrawing, the best thing you can do is give yourself a great big
kick in the butt. That’s right, force yourself to go out, be with
people and socialize.

Moping is a self-reinforcing condition, and so is socialization.
Before long, you’ll be feeling better, just because you forced
yourself to.

Posting my salimo-ang is my way of socializing  8)

great info  :)
I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go. Things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right. You believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.
