The story was told by my grandma, it was my lolo claiming to be a white carabao. He was riding a jeepney and the curious passengers were staring at him, my grandfather knew that it was because of his looks. My grandfather is Portugese and knows how to speak Tagalog fluently and a certified Filipino. When he was paying the driver he said "Ma, bayad ho, paki-abot, salamat". The one sitting beside him asked him, "marunong po kayong magtagalog? Pilipino po ba kayo?" and my Grandfather replied "bakit po? have you not seen a white carabao".
